  • Facilities and Services - Located in the small town of Cerro Plano, this Spanish learning centre in Monteverde has all the facilities that it needs including a spacious garden and indoor common room with billiard and hockey tables for students to use whilst relaxing and socialising in between classes with their fellow classmates. There is wireless internet and a small computer room along with a library full of Spanish resources, a kitchen and dining area and even a small gym area and jacuzzi. There is a TV and Video room for social activities and Spanish language film showings

    • Facilities and Services - This learning centre is dedicated to education and research in the Monteverde area and is involved in a number of community and conservation projects. The Spanish school has a 32 acre campus with spacious classrooms, a large and well-stocked library, an auditorium, computer lab, audio-visual equipment and laboratories
    • Teaching Method - Monteverde Institute uses a holistic approach to language learning and the objective is the make the process a stress-free one. They use both in class and out of class activities, examples of which include field trips to the local market, art galleries and farms, trips to cultural sites, interviews and discussions on Costa Rican culture and current affairs. The teachers aim to engage all of your senses and the goal of the overall experience is not just to learn a language but to be happier and more responsible as well
    • Courses Offered - A wide range of conservational and environmental courses are on offer at this institute but with regards to solely Spanish language courses you will have four hours of lessons each day combined with a home stay in the house of a local Costa Rican family.
