  • Facilities and Services - This Spanish learning centre in Coronado is located in the grounds of an old farm estate called Quinta Toyopán, meaning 'Place of the Gods'. The school is right beside a main bus stop with buses to and from San José every ten to fifteen minutes. The school in Coronado has large gardens and a student lounge for you to relax and socialise in. It also has a small cafeteria and multimedia room and you can play some table tennis or basketball with some of your new classmates should you fancy it as well!
  • Teaching Method and Accreditation - All the teachers at this Spanish institute are native speakers with a University degree and experience teaching Spanish to non-natives. The communicative approach is focused on here and it is combined with the equally important aspects of writing, vocabulary, listening, reading, grammar and current affairs.   • Extra-Curricular Activities and Trips - Upon arrival new students will be given an all important Orientation Tour which takes place every Monday. Then throughout the week there are a variety of different activities arranged for your entertainment and pleasure such as Tropical fruit classes, Cookery lessons where you can learn how to make some typical Costa Rican dishes, coffee afternoons, trips to the local Sports Centre for football, basketball, swimming and fitness in the gym. There are also excursions arranged to nearby Organic Farms, the Museums in San José, Coffee, Cacao and Banana Plantations and even the Los Alpes Cheese Factory
  • Accommodation - It is recommended, for the benefit of your Spanish learning and knowledge, that you stay with a local Costa Rican host family during your language course as you can practice what you are picking up in class during the day and also gain an invaluable insight into daily familiar life in Costa Rica.   • Facilities and Services - All classrooms in the Spanish learning centre are well-lit and ventilated, there is a computer lab for the use of all students with CD-Roms with Spanish practice exercises, a conference room for use during some of the workshops on offer and an on site restaurant.
